Silannah Redwing

  Hello everyone! Today I bring you another of the Starcall requests that inspired me (for those unfamiliar, head to sylessae.com/starcall/ if you are an artists who seeks inspiration or have an OC that you’d like to see drawn. You can learn more through sylessae's page too). Silannah Redwing, a young Night Elf sentinel fighting troll invaders. Character is owned by  I hope she likes this little surprise . 

  Silannah is a commoner by birth who worked her way up, earning herself a place among the Sentinels. On the day she was promoted, a troll attack disrupted the peaceful village. Through her leadership, the attack was stopped, the village made safe. Her efforts earned her the position of Captain of the Guard for the Whisperwinds. A battle hardened a warrior, a survivor of many wars she has a bristly demeanor towards anyone she isn’t close to. But if one could take the time to crack that shell, they would find her to be a loyal, generous friend with surprising kindness. Fiercely protective of her friends and family, she will throw herself in front of any enemy to keep them safe.

  This piece was a blast to work on, and one of the reasons why I love Project Starcall. The inspiration came right after reading through the request. I have tried many new things while working on this one, and spent a couple of days refining and tweaking it before I was happy with the final result. I hope you enjoy it too!
