Dragon's Breath Fire Opal

  Hello everyone! Finally, the time to reveal our newest shiny precious stone is here. Today I'd like to share with you my rendition of the wonderful Dragon's Breath Fire Opal, suggested by several of you in the comments and on twitter . 

  I have to say that working on this one was an absolute treat. These opals are just gorgeous, and even gathering a large reference folder of these made me feel all excited. 

   For the newcomers - I used to paint gems/crystals/minerals as an exercise to clear my head, but it has since become a passion of mine. If you have any suggestions about gemstones, minerals or crystals you would like me to try and paint, please do share! I still have a couple written up, but the supply is ever dwindling.
